AgileEnvironment for AvitoTech

Gint-M is through with an office interior project for AvitoTech, one of Avito holding’s business units – a 1,330-sqm facility on floor 5 of White Gardens BC located at 7 Lesnaya str. Within this project Gint-M has completed the second phase of the project – the first one was delivered early in 2019 and became a winner of the prestigious Best Office Awards 2019 in the Agile Office nomination.

The interior design for AvitoTech was created by Office Project Architects led by Denis Lobanov. Gint-M has developed detailed design documents and performed a full range of general construction works including the design of MEP systems and works on feeble current systems.

The AvitoTech business unit is busy developing new technologies, products and services for Avito; therefore, its architects faced a challenge of creating a comfortable agile space for design teams of 5-8 employees. The workshop concept undergirds the office space design, whereas utility lines laid bare and vintage furniture purchased via Avito website as well as art objects and author’s graphics are all used as elements of the office style.

One of the project’s special features is flexible layout of working zones, each having eight workplaces, but can be split in half or integrated with a neighboring zone depending on the needs of design teams, movable partitions ensuring the mobility of sections. The design of working zones is pivoted on black structural metal beams to which partitions are fastened, and is complemented by fantastic graphic arts in the steampunk style.

Four open zones for quick talks, creative sessions and recreation are provided in the office of AvitoTech. Each of them has enough room for 10-12 employees and is furnished with a screen for presentations, sofa with poufs and bar table with chairs. Two of these zones easily transform into one common meeting zone courtesy of a demountable partition. Thus several teams can comfortably hold joint meetings there. The main design idea for the open sections is creative shield-type privacy walls made of glass, gear wheels, paper and silicon.

There are two large and six small meeting rooms. The office space plan is augmented by two spacious kitchens with a dining zone, a cloakroom and a printer room.

“The AvitoTech office is an effective and comfortable agile environment positively affecting the speed of teamwork and successful implementation of new products and solutions. A multipurpose space allows the “launching” of any working scenario here – from collective brainstorming and thoughtful individual effort to large meetings and conferences. The project flaunts modern fit-out and interior design solutions as well as top-quality engineering equipment. A special emphasis was laid on acoustic panels attached to the ceiling and to movable partitions,” says Business Development Director of Gint-M Artem Panteleev, commenting on the project.
